Fantastic pictures. Where is the one with the rocky shore... It looks familiar to me yet I can't place it?
Your summer looks care free and like the book Cold Tangerines ( enjoyment in the simple daily and wonder around;)
Love it. We had some moments of warmth and sunshine too but I am glad to feel my fAvourite season coming...

Oh thank you K :) I too feel the season of rest arriving. Soon there will be plenty of time for cozy again.
The rocky shore is Glenmore Reservoir just beside Heritage Park.

I love the pictures. Mom and daughter have a definite similarity especially in those beautiful smiles :)

As the days grow shorter and pull away from us, we are left with the bittersweet beauty of what was, for the most part, a lovely summer. Your pictures capture its essence, show the glory and the wonder that summer can bring for a child. And as we continually strive to become like little children, we appreciate the magic of the moments you capture in these pictures.

Wow awesome pictures! You make me sad that summer is almost over! It looks like you all had a really fantastic summer.....

I understand the feeling. Sometimes I have felt lonely as Summer quickly began to rise in temps, and the children have anxiously counted down days until vacation. I'm imagining plenty more times over coffee that we may (& have) shared to cherish, K. Stitching them together into a patchwork quilt of words that will be a safe place for both of us. Thank you for sharing honesty here, dear friend.

Thank you K for the moments you speak eloquently and leave imprints on my heart, while waiting patiently to hear my own responses. You are loved.

Oh thank you, Jamie. It was slow moving but so well enjoyed. There were times to laugh, cry and be peaceful. I wonder often how we can tap into these memories when the winter blankets us. Deep down I know that unless we take each moment everyday we'll still be waiting while time slips away..
